Time:

 Lucas Kilravey
As an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, I represent national and international clients in complex and diverse corporate/commercial transactions. Entering into my fifth year of practice, I have developed strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other documents, as well as advising and managing deals from due diligence to closing. Through my professional and volunteer experience I have cultivated a strong capacity and skillset for leading high-performing teams with positive relational energy and a hands-on knowledge of corporate governance and organization-building from the ground-up.

I am also passionate about advancing access to justice and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the legal profession and beyond. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in various pro bono and non-profit initiatives, such as the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) at Osgoode Hall, Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), and BLGTQA+, the national LGBTQ2S+ employee resource group at my former firm. Most recently, I founded and serve as the inaugural President and Chair of the Canadian Association of LGBTQ2S+ Lawyers (CALL-ACAL) and the PRISME Conference (Canada's annual national 2SLGBTQ+ legal conference). I have received multiple awards and recognition for my contributions to these causes, and I continue to support and mentor others who share my vision and values.
